Our Story

About Sanctum

We are a diverse community united by a common purpose: to know God deeply, to love others fully, and to serve the world around us with humility and grace.

Our Origin

Sanctum Church began in 2015 as a small gathering of twelve individuals meeting in a living room. United by a desire for authentic community and meaningful spiritual growth, we asked a simple question: What would church look like if we stripped away everything nonessential?

From those humble beginnings, we've grown into a community of hundreds, yet we've never lost sight of our founding vision.

Our Mission

To create sacred space where people can encounter God's presence, discover their purpose, and experience transformative community. We believe that faith is not a private matter but a journey best traveled together.

Our Vision

We envision a city transformed by communities of faith that embody radical hospitality, pursue justice, and demonstrate the boundless love of God.

What Guides Us

Our Core Values

01

Authenticity

We come as we are—broken, hopeful, questioning. Pretense has no place here.

02

Hospitality

Every person who walks through our doors is welcomed as a beloved guest.

03

Service

Faith finds its fullest expression in humble service to others.

04

God

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus is fully God and fully human, who lived, died, and rose for our salvation.

Salvation

We believe salvation is a gift of grace received through faith in Jesus Christ.
