Our Story
Three generations dedicated to the art and science of winemaking in the Willamette Valley.
“Wine is the poetry of the earth. Our role is simply to listen, to tend, and to translate what the land wishes to say.”
— Jean-Luc Moreau, Founder
From vine to bottle
Every bottle of Domaine Noir begins in the vineyard. We farm 45 acres of sustainably managed vines across three distinct sites in the Willamette Valley, each selected for its unique soil composition and microclimate. Our vineyards are LIVE-certified and Salmon-Safe, reflecting our deep commitment to the land.
In the cellar, our approach is one of minimal intervention. Native yeast fermentations, gentle pressing, and patient aging in a mix of French oak and neutral barrels allow the true character of each vineyard and vintage to emerge. We believe that great winemaking is knowing when to step back.
